We bought our homestead a couple of years ago, our dream house.  We wanted to live outside of town with some acreage to have animals and to let the little ones run around.  We got pregnant soon after moving in so it’s only been in the last year or so that we’ve really been putting time into our place. 
 
We are limited on funds like a lot of people out there, plus we like to reuse materials.  We either find stuff on craigslist, materials from friends, or old stuff we find a new use for.  Not all our projects are made using old materials though.
